National Programs

American Education Week
The Delta Chapter actively supports the National Education Association by celebrating and embracing America's public schools. We host the annual Teacher's and Turtles Appreciation Lunch, where local educators enjoy a delicious meal, participate in an inspiring professional development workshop, and receive tokens of appreciation. Additionally, the Delta Chapter organizes the Evelyn D. Wilkey Essay Contest, inviting all middle and high school students in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area to express their thoughts on important topics, with scholarships ranging from $50 to $125 awarded to participants.

Business Month:
The Delta Chapter hosts capstone programs throughout April, focusing on stimulating interest in business education and recognizing outstanding achievements in the field. As part of these efforts, the Chapter organizes the Annual Young Entrepreneur Expo, featuring a moderated panel discussion with youth panelists who explore various business enterprises. This event celebrates young entrepreneurs in the Atlanta metro area, promotes business opportunities, and provides education on business management and ownership for the youth.

Black History Month
The Delta Chapter creates programs that educate the community about the challenges African Americans face, foster dialogues about significant events in Black history, and recognize African Americans who have made impactful contributions to our nation and the world.

Founder Day:
This day is celebrated on the first day of June throughout Iotaland.
